"Ionic has been reliable tbh"
I’ve been using Ionic for a few different apps, and the whole build/deploy process has been solid so far. Not a lot of drama, even when I’m pushing updates way too late at night lol. Most of the time it just works, and that’s all I really need.

"The integration was smooth overall. It was…"
The integration was smooth overall. It was easy to get set up, and it’s been genuinely useful without adding any extra hassle.
"Security feels solid so far"
So far, everything feels safe and reliable. I haven’t run into any weird issues or anything that made me worry, if that makes sense.

"The folks there were really helpful. Like, it…"
The folks there were really helpful. Like, it shouldn’t feel rare to deal with people who actually listen and try to help, but here we are. They were friendly, knew what they were doing, and didn’t make the whole thing more complicated than it needed to be. Definitely appreciated it...

"Offline features worked way better than I expected!!"
I used Ionic for an app that had to keep running even with a bad signal, and the offline setup turned out to be solid!! Caching pages and saving data locally wasn’t too hard once I got the hang of it. I ran into a few small issues at the start, but the docs helped enough to get me through. Overall, I’m really happy with how it handled offline use!

"Felt like I was constantly second-guessing it"
Ionic worked fine for me in some cases, but i spent way too much time fighting with debugging and plugin issues. The docs didn’t always clear things up either, which made me feel like I was missing something or maybe being sold on something that wasn’t as smooth as it sounded. I kept worrying I’d been fooled into thinking it would save me time, when in reality I was stuck troubleshooting more than I expected.

"Ionic is fine for building apps, and…"
Ionic is fine for building apps, and I can see why a lot of people use it. But the debugging and testing side has been frustrating for me. The docs feel a little scattered sometimes, and when tests fail, the error messages don’t always point you in the right direction. I found myself wasting time trying to figure out whether the issue was Ionic, Capacitor, or something in my own setup. Browser tools help a bit, but they don’t solve everything. For a framework this popular, I think a lot of customers would expect clearer examples and a smoother testing experience. It works, but it can definitely slow you down.

"Pretty easy to theme, unless I just got lucky"
I used Ionic for a small app, changing colors, fonts, and setting up dark mode was way less painful than I expected. A couple parts of the docs made me stop and wonder if I was missing something obvious, which, to be fair, I might have been. But overall, the theming felt flexible and not messy, and I was able to get the app looking how I wanted without fighting it too much.

"I’ve had a decent experience overall, but once..."
I’ve had a decent experience overall, but once the app starts getting bigger, things can feel a little sluggish and harder to manage. It’s fine for smaller projects, but scaling it up wasn’t as smooth as I expected. I remember trying to work through a larger setup one afternoon with a cold coffee sitting next to me, and it just felt like everything took extra patience.

"So... Ionic has been solid for..."
So... Ionic has been solid for accessibility overall. The docs helped me figure out keyboard navigation and screen reader support, and most of the components worked the way I expected. That said, a few of the examples felt a little light, so I still ended up doing a lot of testing on my own.

"Easy to Pick Up and Nice to Work With"
I started using Ionic for a small app project, it was straightforward to get up and running. The documentation is clear enough, and most of the workflow felt intuitive without needing to dig around too much. I’m not exactly advanced when it comes to mobile development, so that made a big difference for me. There were a few minor hiccups here and there, but nothing that really slowed me down. Overall, it’s been a very pleasant tool to work with

"Good overall, but the docs could be better"
Most of the plugins I tried worked well and did what I needed, which was great. That said, a few of them could really use clearer documentation, since setup wasn’t always obvious. Overall, a solid experience, just with some room for improvement.

"Maintenance has been decent so far. Nothing…"
Maintenance has been decent so far. Nothing super fancy or perfect, but when something comes up, they usually handle it alright. It’s kind of a basic setup, but it gets the job done.

"Pretty smooth overall"
I built it once and it ran fine on both Android and iOS, so I’m taking that as a good sign. I didn’t dig into every little thing, but if it works on both platforms right away, then it probably means everything is more or less sorted.

"Honestly, Ionic Has Been Solid"
I didn’t really expect to be saying this, but we’ve been using Ionic for months now and it’s been surprisingly reliable. Our app has had hardly any crashes or weird downtime, which is all I really wanted from it

"Easy enough to set up"

"Works Well Once You Get the Hang of It"
Ionic has been solid for me overall. The main thing was that the initial setup and documentation took a bit more time to get comfortable with than I expected. Nothing too serious, but there was a slight learning curve before things started to feel smooth.

"Works, but the lag was frustrating"
I used Ionic for a small app, the performance was disappointing. It technically works, but on older phones the app feels laggy, some screens take way too long to load, and scrolling isn’t always smooth. What frustrated me most was that I wasn’t asking for anything complicated — just a basic app that runs decently, and it felt like even that was kind of ignored by the framework. Maybe it’s fine for very simple projects, but after spending time setting everything up, I expected a smoother experience.

"Nice looking UI, but not perfect"
the UI components look good overall. There are just a few rough edges here and there that could use some polish

"I ran into an issue with my Ionic…"
I ran into an issue with my Ionic app build and wasn’t sure if it was something wrong on my end or not. Support got back to me faster than I expected and sent me to the right docs, plus they added a quick explanation that actually made things click a bit, if that makes sense. It wasn’t an instant fix, but after a couple of messages we got it sorted out. I’m giving 4 stars mainly because I wish the first reply had been a little more detailed. Overall though, solid support experience...
